Although we offer two Time-of-Use rate plans, they are very different from each other. The two rate plans are TOUC (peak hours 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. daily) and TOUD (peak hours 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays only).
TOUC is our standard plan and is designed for an average or low usage household. This program includes a discount for usage within your baseline allowance and a higher price point for usage over your baseline. This program is compatible with all discount programs offered through PG&E.
TOUD is designed for high usage homes. This program does not offer a baseline discount, nor does it have an above baseline price point. Instead, there is a flat rate that is charged for all usage outside of peak hours. Because this program does not include a baseline, it is not compatible with our Medical Baseline program.
More information about our rate options and the costs associated with each can be found online by reviewing our tariffs.
