A more in-depth explanation of each section is provided below the image.
A. This is your full account number, needed for registering your account online. This also includes the statement date and due date. Your due date is always three weeks after your statement date.
B. This is the address the bill is for. If you have service at more than one address listed on the same bill, this is the first listed address.
C. This is how much your last bill was and how much was paid between your last bill coming out and your current statement date. If a payment was made after the statement date in section A, it will not be reflected here.
D. This includes any current charges as well as any adjustments applied to your account on this bill cycle. You may see PG&E gas charges, PG&E electric charges, third-party electric charges, or third-party gas charges.
E. This will list the dollar amount you saved on this bill cycle based on your enrolled programs.
F. This is a list of your enrolled programs. You may see programs such as Medical Baseline or CARE here.
G. This is historic bill amounts for the past year. This is helpful for understanding if this bill is similar in dollar amount to the same bill cycle the previous year. Seasonal changes, such as reflected here, can cause a radical change in your bill one month over the next.
H. This is the average usage per day historically. If your bill is different than the previous year or month, this information can help you understand why. Here you can see the bill is higher this year over last because usage was higher.
I. If there is important information you need to know at a glance, it will be listed here.
J. This is the account mailing address and may be different than the address in section B. If you need to update this, you can do so by logging into Your Account and selecting Edit Profile and Alerts.
