Yes, you can. Simply sign in to Your Account and follow these steps to transfer your service.
- Sign in to Your Account. If you are not registered for Your Account, you may use the Visitor feature by selecting Visitor on the Sign In screen.
- For the Visitor feature, enter your PG&E account number, meter number and the last four digits of your Social Security number OR your last name, zip code, meter number and the last four digits of your Social Security number.
- Scroll down to Service Requests and select Start or Stop Service.
- If you have upcoming scheduled service requests, select Transfer Service.
- Select Transfer Service.
- Verify your stop service address.
- If your stop service address has gas only service, gas and electric services, or you are removing gas appliances or cleaning with flammable solvents:
- Answer the safety questions for your stop service address
- Select your appointment date and preferred time
- If your stop service address has gas only service, gas and electric services, or you are removing gas appliances or cleaning with flammable solvents:
- If your stop service address has solar, electric only service, or you are not removing gas appliances or cleaning with flammable solvents:
- Enter your stop service date.
- Enter the address where you want to start service and select the correct address from the drop-down menu.
- Enter your start date.
- Select your preferred electric rate.
- To optionally enroll in the SmartRateTM program, select the SmartRateTM checkbox.
- Verify your account details.
- If you optionally added the SmartRateTM program, provide your contact method(s) to receive SmartDayTM Alerts.
- To automatically pay your monthly bill online, set up Recurring Payments and provide your Recurring Payment information.
- Review the confirmation page and select Submit to accept or select the Back button to make changes.
- Email confirmations will be sent to you once you click Submit.
