We suggest that you have your panels inspected every two years, or when you notice a significant drop in performance during clear weather. Only a licensed professional solar contractor should perform system maintenance and inspections. Contact the company that installed your system or access The State of California's list of authorized contractors.
Solar panel inspectors check for the following conditions:
- Twigs and leaves on or underneath panels
- Loose screws and wires
- Cracked or stained panels
- New tree growth or other obstructions shading panels
