Yes, PG&E will disconnect appliances if it is not safe to operate. Should this happen, the customer will be required to make repairs before we will return to reinspect and reconnect the appliance.
If your appliance has been disconnected for safety and you have made appropriate repairs, please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-743-5000 and we will schedule an appointment for someone to come out and re-inspect the appliance.
