We understand how disruptive power outages are, and we sincerely appreciate your patience as we work to identify the location and source of your outage, and work to repair the damage.
During large storms, where widespread outages may be caused by storm damage to our system, we require our technicians to locate and assess physical damage prior to updating the system with an accurate estimated time of when your power will be restored.
The best way to get updated information is to sign up for outage notifications within Your Account. If you are enrolled, you will receive a notification through your preferred method (by text, phone call, or email) when any updates are made regarding the updated date/time of when your power will be restored. Changes to your estimated time of restoration may happen if our crews are able to obtain the equipment or work more quickly than anticipated, or if additional damage is uncovered and more extensive repairs are needed.
If you have not registered with Your Account, visit our Outage Center for outage information that is updated automatically every 15 minutes. Our outage center will provide you the opportunity to sign up to receive notifications including restoration time changes for a specific outage. When you sign up for outage updates, you will receive updates until the outage has been resolved.
