There could be a variety of reasons your payment is not showing on your account. Payment process times are not always immediate. Below is an estimated time frame of when payments are posted to accounts. If your payment has not posted and it is after the estimated times below, contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-743-5000 and a Customer Service Representative can assist you. Please have your receipt/confirmation number available.
Your Account, Web EZPay, and Pay by Phone – Payments made before 5:00 p.m. usually post the same day, after 5:00 p.m. payments will post on the next business day. If a payment is made on a holiday, it will be processed the next business day.
Payment Centers – Payments are usually processed by the next business day.
Home Banking (EFT) – Payments will appear approximately 2 business days after the scheduled payment date.
Mail – Payments are usually processed within 3-5 days after receiving them. We attempt to process payments as quickly as possible. Please be mindful of postal delays including holidays and inclement weather which may delay PG&E receiving your payment.
NOTE: Please use the envelope that comes with your bill to make your payments whenever possible.
