Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) is a program that allows cities and counties to buy/generate electricity for residents and businesses within their area. Each month, your generation charges and credits will be billed by your CCA and PG&E will continue to bill transmission and distribution charges on an annual true-up. Both CCA and PG&E charges will reflect on your monthly PG&E Energy Statement.
Please note when your enrollment and billing changes from PG&E to a CCA or vice-versa, PG&E performs a forced True-Up.
For questions regarding CCA related inquiries, i.e., CCA electric charges, CCA generation and services, please contact your CCA Provider or for additional information on CCAs, you can also visit our Community Choice Aggregation page.
