Qualifying for more than the one standard medical baseline allotment is rare and not automatically granted. Depending on the additional amount of total gas or electricity needed to maintain a specific temperature or run a medical device may qualify you for more than one standard medical baseline allotment. Additional allotments are NOT granted based on the number of people or devices in your home. The previous gas or electric usage will be used to determine if you would qualify for more than one medical allotment.
