Yes. You can have a gap between the date you stopped service to the date you start new service.

If you had medical baseline or CARE at your previous location and will have more than a 90-day break between service, a new application may be required. If the break is less than 90 days, please review your first bill to ensure your programs transferred to your new home; if they did not, please call customer service so we can request they be added.
For safety reasons, please make sure all electrical appliances or equipment are turned off prior to moving out. If you are planning to move any gas appliances, please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-743-5000 to process your request.
