Do you smell gas? If yes, call 1(800)743-5000 immediately and press #1 to report it to PG&E. If you do not smell gas, consider the following:
Are you currently experiencing an electric outage?
- If so, this may cause the electronic ignition to fail in your gas appliance.
Are all your gas appliances affected?

- Yes: If yes, please call the contact center at 1-800-743-5000 to report a gas outage.
- No: If no, and there is no gas to only one or some of your gas appliances, you can schedule a pilot relight/appliance safety check appointment. You can schedule this online at www.pge.com/youraccount under “Service Requests." A gas appliance safety check is a free service, and one of our gas service representatives will check your gas appliances.
